Up for sale is a Rolex Explorer with beautiful tropical gilt gloss dial! A very rare example where the gilt dial has changed from black to a beautiful brown. If you have never seen on in person the dial takes different shades and tones in different light. These examples are very rare and hard to find in any condition.

•  Tropical gilt glossy 3-6-9 dial that has turned a wonderful shade of brown. Dial is still very glossy! 
• Please note: Light crazing on the 3 o clock side of the dial and under the hand post.  
• Original tritium hands that were recently color matched. 
• Bezel is clean with small dings from wear. 
• Case has been previously polished.
• Case back stamped I 65. 
• Serial and reference numbers are crystal clear and intact.
• Original domed plexi is in excellent shape.
• Rolex folded link 7836 bracelet with limited stretch. 
• Movement recently serviced. New crown, tube, and stem installed. Running in COSC spec.
